We're currently working with NOON Organization and the Saguache Child Care Council in Saguache, CO, to breathe new life into a currently-vacant 1901 adobe structure. Recognized by History Colorado for its role in the social life of the town, the building has supported intentional acts of community throughout its many permutations. Originally built as the Mexican Presbyterian Church, it has also served as the meeting place of the Spanish Baptist Church, a community Colcha embroidery group, the Saguache "concilio" of the Sociedad Protección Mutua de Trabajadores Unidos, and most recently, as a day care that was part of the Head Start program.

The current design proposes to restore and rehabilitate the existing adobe portion of the building, renovate the 1970's-era addition, and add a new wing to help support present child care needs in Saguache in the surrounding areas.
